Hello everyone, thanks again for joining the mailing list!  This is the first official mailing so I hope you think it's a good one.  Just want to inform the rest of you that in the future there will be a new ALF site on the Internet!

Recently ALFtv.NET acquired the planetmelmac.com domain name (previous owners did not renew the domain) and we intent to make it into another ALF site...but here is where the problem comes in; what does the ALF community need?  We are currently very open to suggestions on what to do with this domain name.  Should it be a big ALF message board, an ALF memorabilia site, a site for ALF webmasters to exchange links???  There are so many possibilities.

Whether this will happen 6 months, 10 months, even a year down the road is still uncertain.  We're hoping to get feedback by the fans on what could potentially be done with this domain.  It's impossible to satisfy everybody, but with any luck the end result will have a lasting impact on ALF as we know it!

Additionally (changing subjects), if anyone has any reviews on the ALF season 1 DVD package and would like to share them please send an e-mail.  I am in the process of developing a page for fan reviews.  Although some of them will probably be negative there were also positive things about the DVD.  Hopefully fans who write reviews will not concentrate solely on the negative aspects - as to turn off other fans from purchasing ALF DVDs in the future.
